1. Actively participated in "Vande Mataram" movement staged all over the country during Nizam Administration in 1938.
2. Took higher studies in Hindi medium at Lahore now in Pakistan from 1938 to 1942, actively participated in "Quit India" movement under the leadership of Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan against British and arrested by the Government of Hyderabad.
3. Served as Secretary, Sholapur City Nirvasaths Seva Samithi, Maharashtra.
4. During 1946, was Secretary, District Congress Committee, Gulbarga District.
5. Was member,Municipality and Taluk Board, Yadagiri.
6. Elected to Legislative Assembly from Gurumitkal Legislative Assembly Constituency during 1962.
7. Actively participated in various capacities the Vice President, State Level Committee of Subhash Chandra Bose 1964.
8. Was President, South India Hindi Prachar Sabha from 1980.
9. Was Secretary All India Freedom Movement Committee.
10. Was Executive President, South India Freedom Fighters Conference.
11. Nominated as Member of the Karnataka Legislative Council, on 2nd October, 1988.
