Position Held
1. Worked on different commitees viz., Text Books preparation and prescription, Framing of the syllabi, examination committees etc., Organised seminars, workshops, conferences of teachers and parents, sports, dramatics and other cultural activities.
2. Worked as D.E.O., Principal G.B.T.C. and Dy. D.P.I. Rendered excellent service for the spread of education at all levels - Primary, Secondary and Collegiate Education through effective implementation of free and compulsory Primary Education, Free Secondary Schools, opening of Girls' High Schools etc. in Dharwar division.
3. Worked as Secretary of the Kannada text books preparation committee in the erstwhile Bombay Government Education Department.
4. Was a member of the Editorial Board for departmental Kannada Readers, I to IV ; prepared an activity curriculum for primary schools, published by the Government of Bombay. Did research work in the field of education in submitting thesis for Ph.D. to the Karnataka University Prepared text book in social studies for III Std, as Chairman of the committee, and worked as Chairman of the Scrutiny committee in the preparation of text book in Social studies for VI Standard, appointed by the Government of Mysore.
5. Worked as Chief Editor of the Jeevan Shikshan Magazine ; and contributed a number of articles to Educational Magazine in Kannada and English, Expert in the production of children's literature, author of books on education and basic English series.
6. Spared no pains in implementing effectively all the schemes sponsored by the education department, Government of Mysore while in service and helped the department in augmenting the following funds
1. Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund
2. Teacher's Welfare Fund
3. National Defence Fund
4. Kittur Channamma Rani Fund and Nijalingappa Nidhi, etc.
7. Is a seasoned educationist with high qualification and rich experience.
8. Elected to the Mysore Legislative Council from the Teachers' Constituency on 1st July, 1968.
