Position Held Political Carrier :
1. He was the President of the District Congress Committee Bidar in 1968 and General Secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee in the year 1980. He was hold the post convernor of State Kisan Cell in the year 1980. He led the 'Seed Movement' in Hyderabad Karnataka area, in the year 1972, when un-precedented femine was prevailed. In this connection he was in Jail along with 300 Kisan leaders and came out from the Jail only after the distri­bution of seeds by the Government.
2. Participated Historic All India Kisan Rally held at New Delhi on 16th Feb, 1981 alongwith 16 thousand farmers from Karnataka. He was elected as a President of Taluk Municipal Council, Bhalki in 1953. He was elected to the State Legislative Assembly from Bhalki Constituency four terms i.e 1962, 1967, 1978 & 1983.In the year 1988 he was elected as a member of the Legislative Council of Karnataka from Bidar District Local Bodies.Constituency and again he was elected as member of Legislative Council from the state legislative Assembly Constituency in 1994 to 2000 .

Educational Field :
1. He was the Chairman of one of the leading educational insti­tuition ShantiVardhak Education Society, since 1963 to 1993 & established so many educational institutions like Rural Engineering college, Polytechnic, I.TI., Art, Science & Commerce College, High Schools & Hostels throughout the District under the patronage of his  holiness param pooja Sri Channabasva Pattadevaru Mahaswamy Bhalki, and Associated with many educational instilutions in the District.

Co-operation Field :
1. He is leading Co-operator in the State. He was one of the Founder of the Bidar Sahakara Sakkare Karkhane and was its Chair­man for 12 years. During his period crushing capacity was increased from I 250 metric tonnes to 2500 M.T. per day.
2. He was the executive member of National Federation of Co-operative Sugar Factory and executive member of Indian Sugar Export Corporation, New Delhi. Presently he is the Chief promoter of the newly established co-operative sugar factory, the Mahatma Gandhi Sahakari Sakkare Karkhane (N) Bhalki.

Family Planning Camp :
1. During the year 1976, he has organised a voluntary Family Planning Camp at Bhalki District Bidar, which made a world record in which 2015 family planning operations were coriduced in, day. He is also associated with many spiritual institutions like, Anubhava Mantapa at Basavakalyan, Sri Nagbhusan Yoga Kendra at Muchalam & Hiremath Samsthan, Bhalki. He is the member of so many literacy organisations & the Vice-President of the Parlia­mentary Affairs in the State.

Ministry Period :
1. He was served as the Transport Minister in Government of Karnataka for two and half years from 1992 to 1994 and the leader of the Upper House of Karnataka.
